4th Annual Harvest Moon Festival

DPACD was excited to participate in the fourth annual Harvest Moon Festival on Saturday, October 31, 2009. This "fallfabulous" event was hosted by the Peculiar Area Chamber of Commerce and is always a huge hit in Peculiar and the surrounding communities.

It was a beautiful, fall day full of ghosts, goblins and princesses strolling the streets and enjoying the fun. Many came by our booth to create a beautiful, fall theme refrigerator magnet or a pottery necklace and to get some candy for their bags/pillowcases/ buckets. While the young ones were arting it up, we talked to everyone who would listen about our mission, our upcoming events and our plans for Downtown. DPACD was excited to take second in the scarecrow contest with SCREAMcrow created by Kris and Keegan Smith.
